Good evening citizens, it's been a very eventful day. As you know we are in hiding at a non disclosed location bouncing this signal off of every comsat in Stanton as well as through some encrypted bands run by the UEE Navy. We've gotten very good, thanks to help from our listeners, at utilizing all available resources to keep you, dear listener, informed. As you can see, our location maybe spartan but to avoid scans, you do what you have to.

Ladies and gents, we come to you tonight from, well let's just be honest. We're coming to you from hiding. Some of our reporters broke our cardinal rule of non interference and literally mined new shafts into Kessler and staged a daring raid to escort me out. We're bouncing this broadcast from every comsat in Stanton and off the relays set up for the new Pyro wormhole. As I told the malcontents in Kessler, "You can't stop the wave Mal."

Ladies and gentlemen of the UEE. We are proud to come to you tonight though our accommodations are not quite our standard. While uncovering the Widow ring on New Babbage and the payoff of the security forces there which lead us to Kessler and the lack of security and even prisoners there, we were arrested for "public nuisance" and "colluding with pirates" . A fine was levied on our accounts of 20,000 UEC and we went willingly with law enforcement back to Kessler, this time as a prisoner.

Welcome to our first release with the new Reddit and what a release it is. Along with the UEE issuing passes for pilots to test out 16 ships, even those who have never flown before, it has been extremely exciting to be press.

Your FastForecast spent most of the day rescuing new pilots from crashes and being stranded after not taking fuel economy into account and doing long jumps with small quantum tanks. We all were there at one point. The fun part comes this evening.

Good evening citizens of the UEE. Your FastForecast has quite the story for you tonight. As always, we are dedicated to going anywhere and talking to anyone for the story to provide you the latest news across Stanton and after the groundbreaking revelation of Widow being trafficked at New Babbage, we knew we had only one choice, to go to inside sources at Aberdeen's own high security prison.

Are you a trader out amongst the stars, plying your trade, making credits and always wondering if there's pirates around your favorite trading posts?

A pirate looking for glory?

An explorer wanting to proclaim their newest discovery?

We here at FastForecast present the latest in traffic, weather and commodity pricing from all across Stanton and soon, Pyro. We are neutral and thus, most pirate factions permit us to operate without being attacked but it's a very important trust. We are neutral. We report but do not get involved.

Citizens, your FastForecast has quite the scoop tonight from one of our agents in the field. We're broadcasting his report as submitted.

" After returning the 300i, I was perusing the NBIS gift shop. I walked towards it and saw an unfamiliar container on a side table. It was WiDoW, I ran to the guards, but they just stood there. I later walked around the Commons and found another. Both were in public places, based on the guards reaction, it must me an underground ring involving many in New Babbage society. " - Legohead_5th

Good evening citizens, your FastForecast is proud to be broadcasting today from McGrath weather station on Clio, orbiting MicroTech. It's a bit chilly but the Anvil Valkyrie has some amazing climate control systems for a heavy dropship and we've even gotten a badmitten game going with some researchers in the hold. There was one hiccup when the upgraded weather sensors did make the quantum drive short out and we wound up REALLY close to Stanton but, nothing takes a beating like an Anvil.

Your FastForecast responded tonight to a report of a battle

Good evening Citizens, your FastForecast is proud to be back online with all of you. Anvil has told us the Terrapin will be in the shop for a while but our Valkyrie now has the weather tracking package that Anvil is rapidly getting to be known for.

Tonight we take a look at the underbelly of the Stanton system, vices. With the upgraded stealth systems built into the Anvil Valkyrie, we were able to sit outside of several drug dens and monitor ships coming and going and were surprised by the increase in traffic over just 2 weeks ago. For those who a

Very exciting day in Stanton. Most of you have noticed (and if you haven't yet, you will) that ground crew union and the corporations came to an agreement on a contract that will allow pilots to finally land at ports and refuel with permission from the tower. Insiders at the UEE Navy said that the admirality applied pressure to both sides to "get it done" and, while the details are under lock and key, we're told neither side are happy which is the sign of a good agreement.

The FastForecast Terrapin is still in the shop and we've been issued a Valky

Today is a bit of a notification. Seems our dish on the Fastforecast Terrapin became unaligned after being struck by some sort of flying ... something... while reporting on Clio causing us to broadcast re-runs of Charles in Charge. We are deeply sorry for this. We understand Charles in Charge and Saved by the Bell are thin replacements for cutting edge updates and notifications from around Stanton.

Anvil tells us that the alignment should be repaired in the next day or so and we look forward to getting back to reporting to you fine Citizens of the

Tonight we bring news that the union strike continues into it's 3rd month. Members remind pilots that fuel, repairs and refits may be gained by entering a landing pad without permission, or paying Tower fees, and just letting your "grease monkey" on the ground know what you want. The union has offered to cut refueling and repair costs for those willing to take the chance of upsetting Corporate and the UEE Navy with the flagrant violations of law. If caught by Tower, you can expect impounding at at least a 500 UEC penalty.

This is a special report from a field agent, coming across our lines right now, please standby for live broadcast:

Today's report is from the battle lines of Port Olisar where pirates held the area in lockdown for several straight hours, destroying any ship that approached within 100k of the port. Armed with stealth technology and torpedoes as well as missile gunships, the privateers were formidable adversaries for anyone on approach, often taking out heavy fighters as soon as they came out of FTL.

We were able to reach out to one of the pirates from the CAREBEAR organization, a SilverDrips who was the most prevalent assassin of the day. His kill count alone nu

A busy morning provided a need for an early edition but things settled down somewhat later in the evening. 30K privateers (as they have asked to be referred to) withdrew after a prolonged battle with the UEE Navy with damage to both sides running into the billions of UEC. The privateers only withdrew when reports of the Navy's Idris platform and 3 Polaris escorts were on the way. Whether this battle demanded the movement of such assets from the front lines is anyone's guess but it does look like the Navy is taking the threat seriously.
