Mounting rockwool absorbers to metal and brick walls without drilling

Anyone ever done this? trying to mount ~1.5x4 ft 3in thick rockwool panels to metal and brick wall surfaces and I’m not sure the best way to do this without drilling, which is not an option. I’d like to keep a few inches of space between the walls and the rockwool ideally. I was thinking maybe some sort of lightweight (plastic, foam ?) spacers glued to the back of the panel and attached with adhesive velcro to the walls. haven’t actually got my hands on the rockwool yet though so I’m not sure how heavy or flimsy it is. any ideas?

thanks

Probably better off with stands

Acoustic panels mounted on legs is gonna be your best option, too heavy to hang with Velcro/glue(maybe some super heavy duty industrial)

I’ve tried that method and I did not have much luck. I mounted several panels using Command Strips and also whatever 3Ms proprietary version of Velcro. Neither worked and it was a pretty expensive lesson. I wound up drilling anyway. Z Clips are the way to go as far as I’m concerned.

Maybe some really strong command strips?

Different types of rockwool have different pliability. Are you sure you know which ones to use? What type of frame are you using for the panels?
