Possible spoiler... was anyone else haunted by the faceless little girl?

Spoiler

Maybe because my daughter is a similar age, but I’m so haunted by the faceless little girl and how she come to be stuck in Bly Manor.

I’m particularly haunted by the brief view of her sitting on the floor with her hands over her knees, like she was lonely, or waiting... and am strangely happy she was able to play with some dollies and a dolls house at one point.

Anyone else?

Did you watch the whole season all the way through? It gives his brief backstory and the reason for the faceless ness of many of the ghosts in episode 8.

I did, that’s what I’m haunted about! How the child was just taken from the bed and into the lake because the lady of the lake had a feeling she was after a child... like an automatic reaction

that faceless child was what stuck to me the most, seeing them there in the house all alone all those years until flora became his “friend” in a way

I found it really sad. His death didn’t give the lady of the lake the gratification she needed so he died pointlessly. I wonder if he would be tucked away in memories and not even realise he was dead/ see his parents regularly?

maybe he was? i kind of hope so bc his story is one of the saddest probably in the series

I am watching the series all over again and my heart is re broken. He moved the dolls around to let flora know where the ghosts are... the fact that he can move them means that he doesn’t realise/accept that he is dead 💔💔💔💔

i didn’t even think about that? the child not knowing he’a dead is even worse

That’s interesting. I just thought, for whatever reason, somehow the doll house and the dolls were magically moving around on their own based on where the ghosts were. But this makes a lot more sense, if the it was the little ghost boy who was doing it for her. 😲
