So the airbrush is gonna be somewhat expensive, but it sounds like this would be a nice gift. There's a stickied thread somewhere around here on airbrushes and I would suggest starting there. From an artist standpoint you'll want a double action airbrush, and I feel like most artists prefer gravity fed or side fed. You can go fairly cheap on the compressor to start.

For the Monte Carlo kit, it looks a bit harder. I had a look up on [scalemates.com](https://scalemates.com) for you, and the only kit i can find for you is an old lindberg kit: [https://www.scalemates.com/kits/lindberg-365-1975-monte-carlo-landau--1148956](https://www.scalemates.com/kits/lindberg-365-1975-monte-carlo-landau--1148956)Otherwise they have some Monte carlo 77 kits, that should be easier to get [https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?fkSECTION%5B%5D=All&q=chevrolet+monte+carlo+77\*](https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?fkSECTION%5B%5D=All&q=chevrolet+monte+carlo+77*)
