{Solved}

I was given an “old” Silicom PXG4BPI 4 port Gigabit Ethernet adapter from 2008 because it doesn’t work with any existing computer in our environment. It is PCI-X and I have no idea if there is any way to put this in my modern computer. From what I understand Id need to convert parallel communication to serial and that sounds like a whole lot of thinking I don’t want to do. The card says it works passively so maybe if I could just power it on I could 3d print a chassis and use it as a switch?
