There’s a serious lack of Trance/Progressive representation at all of these events besides the main festival itself.

Insisting on celebrating with friends, family, strangers or whatever is extremely...unwise. Virtual for NYE 2021 is the way to go.

I mean €20 for access okay I get that but €25 for only wristbands and a poster is damn expensive.

It was the exact same for the other edition aswell. But now you pay 20 euro for 1 day instead of 2. the package that had wristband, poster and access was like 45 euro.

Im a bit dissapointed actually, I realy miss my favorite Israeli duo and Australian madman. Of course I'll still buy a ticket thought. This will still be legendary!

While I know Vini Vici is a duo they hardly ever play together as of late, so I took them out and couldn’t figure out who else would fit in.
And yeah, everyone knows the Aussie mad man.

I’m on the fence on this one.
While I totally get why they are doing it, I have a small family tradition to watch movies with my kids, which I don’t think will stop this year and I am sure others have their own NYE traditions.

You could always get the relive platform by itself and relive the sets you want to see whenever you feel like it.

To be frank, I didn’t care much about the visuals for the first event outside of the first 10 mins of each stage.
Or hopefully the sets come out on Apple Music so I can stream it. I replayed the crap out of some of those sets.

Very high chance of them releasing some of the sets to Apple Music considering they’ve done it in the past, probably your safest bet if you’re willing to wait it out.

Lineup is pretty good. Price is okay. Love hardstyle, techno and some dnb there. But wristband and poster 25€ is kind of absurd. I know they struggle financially in these hard times but people do also lol. I hope you will all enjoy this stream, I'll spend my NYE outside because I'm sick of lockdown haha!

Pretty boring line up in my opinion. Definitely not something I'd pay for to see. I will probably still buy a package to get the bracelets. But for the show it's not worth it for me. Like ATW just always the same boring big names of which many are not known for their creativity in their sets.
But well, for a NYE party I guess it's ok.

That’s a damn good lineup and you’re calling DBSTF, szp, armin, artbat, netsky, Charlotte de witte and tchami, lost frequencies, boring. I’d rather see those names over Steve aoki, marshmello, tiesto and all the likes.

Agreed regarding Aoki and those. But also the other names are not DJ I´d pay money for. Well, it´s just my opinion of course and I´m not saying they are doing a bad job. They are just not doing stuff I like a lot. I mean, I´m fine with Armin, he is a great producer and a very skilled DJ. But since a few years I find his sets pretty boring. He went too much into that Big Room kinda thing and that´s just absolutely not my cup of tea. Same goes with Lost Frequencies. He might be a good producer as well but his sets are lacking diversity imho.
Actually I like Charlotte but thats basically the only name besides Kölsch/Joris Voorn who I´d like to see. But 20 Euro just for two out fo 25 sets is quite steep.
Personally I´m more into Deep, Progressive and Trance. These genres are missing completely. Like I said, the line up might be quite ok for a party kinda thing. But that´s just not something which attracts me. I´m here for the music. :-) Bring me names like Nora, Claptone, Above & Beyond, The Thrillseekers, Oliver Smith, Arty/Alpha 9, Marsh, Yotto, EDX, Proff, Tinlicker, Solomun or even Jean Michel Jarre and you can have all my money, especially for the latter.
But don´t you worry, I´m absolutely fine with the fact that tastes are different. So I´m not saying the line up is boring in general. It is boring for me.

I wouldn’t be the biggest fan of proper trance, I feel it’s an acquired taste but I do like cosmic gate. But the likes of yotto, Nora en pure, edx and claptone I love. Would’ve liked to see yotto on this lineup, his tml 2019 set was pretty good.
I like everything when it comes to the big genres except for trance and generic radio edm music (looking at you slap house) so this lineup is perfect for me anyways, it has everything I like.
As far as the price tag goes, it’s not so bad for me, I’ll be splitting the €20 between a few people and we’ll all watch it together on the night.
