1st xbike post

First xbike post but this in one of my many budget xbikes over the years, most of them being triple triangle GTs. The frame is a XL GT timberline with a new cable stop brazed onto the bottom of the groovetube for the V-brake swap. I have another build with pretty much the same frame but setup with dropbars - the geometry of the XL hybrid type GT's is great! Fork is a cheapo sunlite or something like that with mid eyelets brazed on for the basket mount. I was able to get some DTH's and aluminum fenders for cheap from the local co-op too.

Yeah I love the old camo style and splatter paint jobs. My drop bar gt is the same paint but with the matching rigid fork which looks really clean. I like to call it galaxy camo

Is there a braze-on that low on the front fork?

Yep, I added it low as a basket mount since there was only the fender braze on at the drop out.
