I'm hoping to better understand what is going on with my laptop so that I can fix it if possible. I have a Prestige 14 Evo from 2018-ish timeframe. It has always had some type of power issue, but recently it has gotten worse. Here are the symptoms:

-If I leave it off a charger in sleep for a while it typically needs to be plugged in and then will restart with 0% battery

-If it has lost all charge while asleep, it typically will restart multiple times and die right when windows is loading. After it restarts a few times (3-5) it will typically load up and work normally, as long as it stays plugged in

-Sometimes it will lose all power when plugged in and charged, and this depends on whic

I have had a pretty terrible customer service experience with my last purchase, to the point that I will likely never buy another pair. I just sent another follow up email and got a response instantaneously, with a generic bot response that sounds like it is from ChatGPT or something. Based on my recent experience with Truman, I'm guessing I won't be hearing from a human again.

This company is a joke. They already don't have a phone number that you can call. Now it seems like there is no one there to reply to emails as well. I expect something like this from Comcast or AliExpress but not a smaller business that sells "premium" products

Since most people here are using old 26ers, I thought some people could help out with some input on 26" tires for commuting and light gravel.

Right now I have a bike with 26x2.2 Halo Twin Rails, another with 26x2.1 Maxxis DTH's and another with 26x2.35 Big Apples. I find that the big apples are really slow feeling unless you pump up the air pressure a ton, then they aren't comfortable anyways. They also barely clear my fenders. So I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend other 26x2.0-2.25 tires that are pretty fast on roads and paths. I like my DTH's so I might just get another set, but are Gravelking SK's pretty good too? Any other good options?

First xbike post but this in one of my many budget xbikes over the years, most of them being triple triangle GTs. The frame is a XL GT timberline with a new cable stop brazed onto the bottom of the groovetube for the V-brake swap. I have another build with pretty much the same frame but setup with dropbars - the geometry of the XL hybrid type GT's is great! Fork is a cheapo sunlite or something like that with mid eyelets brazed on for the basket mount. I was able to get some DTH's and aluminum fenders for cheap from the local co-op too.

Just picked up a 701SM and was wondering, can you put these bikes on a normal dirtbike stand with no skidplate? There is no frame under the engine so I'm not sure if the bike weight can rest on the engine case on a dirtbike stand.

There are a lot of post about White's MP boots out there, so I won't cover all the details, but I wanted to post these up because they are a little different than the normal build and my experience with Andrew from Franklin and Poe.

I always prefer taller boots, and had found their black 8"MP boots, which I really like but already have a pair of 8" black boots. Initially I contacted White's to see if I could get a taller version made of another color, but they told me that was not an option. I then contacted Franklin and Poe about getting their taller model made with British Tan CXL. After a bunch of back and forth emails with him, my boots went from different color to a fully custom build

Hey, looking to ride from the city to Elgin and back this weekend. How is the prarie path right now? has the warmth/sun/wind dried it out, or is it a mud pit? Would be on a road bike with 32's and fenders. Thanks!

I recently picked up these boots during the Taylor Stitch Cyber Monday sale. They were 30% off, so all said and done they were right around $250.

I had some questions about sizing, especially after finding out I wear a size 9 in Red Wings heritage boots vs a size 10 in most other boots (Thorogood, Dr. Martens, etc), so I chatted with one of their customer service people who recommended a 9.5. I realized these were definitely too small when I tried them on, so I exchanged them for a 10 (their exchange system was really smooth and easy, and they shipped out the new size before I even shipped the 9.5's back whi
