Okay, but he literally admitted to only being around for the checks when Lovie was fired.
Also, while Conte sucked, Briggs didn't even turn his head to call the play to the defense against the Packers, and so Conte is wildly out of position and gets all the blame.
We almost traded 1sts with the Skins for him in 2007, and we should have fucking taken it.

This was one of the worst offensively coached games I’ve ever seen. They had 0 answers on 3rd down for a defensive look (double mugged A-gaps) that Mike Zimmer is literally known for and that they’ve have seen for years. And when they finally did try and have an answer in the 4th quarter and tried to throw a screen, Zimmer trolled them, didn’t blitz, and locked up the screen perfectly.
The only reason I will give them an F- instead of an F- - is because they were very organized, didn’t burn TO’s, and had no penalties. That at least got cleaned up with Nagy no longer calling plays.
Man. You can’t say anything about the penalties. They didn’t even throw a flag when Foles got punched in the helmet.
They didn’t want to throw any flags this week.

I was referring to stupid offensive penalties like delay of games, illegal shifts, or false starts.
I get what you’re saying, and I agree with you. What I’m saying is the refs didn’t throw the flag much at all - so the penalties could have been there, just not flagged.
I’ll say I didn’t see a bunch of motion / etc, so it likely was much cleaner, but if they miss some obvious ones, why not others?
