rockytoptalk.comNever seen a unit with four 5* players in it perform so badly in pass protection. His time here was coaching malpractice at its best.

Eh, they still weren't as bad as Butch's offensive lines. He at least improved the situation he inherited.
13
He recruited the situation better. He definitely is working with more raw talent than Butch had.
14
I agree. He needed to go, but I still think he improved the line. Maybe not to our standards, but it did improve.

Oh no!
Anyway, do Weinke next!

BREAKING: Chris Weinke has been promoted to Offensive Coordinator.

Don’t you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!

That sack of moldy potatoes had one of the best offensive lines Tennessee has ever had in terms of talent and somehow made them perform like 2* players. Should have been fired halfway through the season in my opinion.
44
I think we fired the wrong line coach after Kentucky.

How the hell did Pruitt convince SCar to hire him? That alone probably earns him another extension.

He’s not my Friend anymore then

Good

On a personal note, his son was in the same kindergarten class as my son. My boy is kind of shy and has trouble with speech, and Coach Friend’s son went out of his way to be really nice to him.
Good luck to Coach Friend and family.
Hopefully we can find an upgrade.

What a great....Friend. Heh, heh heh.

Excellent news.

Well.....
....bye.

Good riddance. This OL has been horribly underperforming.
6
It's something predictable but in the end it's right
I hope you have the time of your life
(Good riddance)

I’m a carolina fan and came to see what y’all are saying about this. looks like we made another mistake with this hire unfortunately
5
He’s a god awful o-line coach but you’ll benefit from the Tennessee curse. When he leaves here he’ll be the next Sam Pittman.
6
He’s supposedly a great recruiter, but the on field product has left a lot to be desired.

Keep going!

Yall watch, they’ll have the best line in the conference next year

Meh.

🙌

LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOO

This is much better than us paying him to work there like we did that other guy.

“The loss of Friend won’t have Tennessee fans shedding too many tears.”
Yeah, I’d say that pretty much mirrors everyone’s feelings at this point.
There aren’t many tears left to be shed at this point.
