Gardening and squats... weeds have no chance.
So I was out in my garden, pulling weeds, as one is inclined to do, when I realized that most of my life I struggled with the bigger weeds because of the way I was trying to pull them. Calling these things weeds is a bit of and understatement. Maybe mini-trees with devil roots would be more appropriate. Anyway, I used to grab hold while bent at the waist and then kind of lean back/try and straighten my back to pull them. Couldn't get most of them.
Then it hit me.
I dropped to a low squat, grabbed hold, and pushed up with the best form I have.
I went flying back, mini-tree thing in hand.
Just wanted to share how this subreddit has effected me outside of the gym as well as inside.

that's a deadlift
Haha.. you are right. When I was doing it I was thinking more about squat form, but I guess if I thought about it as a dead lift I might not fly back every time.
maybe more like a trap bar DL?
