am i depressed or am i just interpreting the situation correctly

Venting

iunno. on a personal level, no job, nothing on the horizon, no real reason to get up in the morning. i've lost kinda all confidence in myself so i can't finish anything or even tweet without feeling it's worthless. not been able to see a lot of the people i love over the past year; i couldn't see my nan for six months before she passed due to covid restrictions. i even just miss pub with my mates.

and the world at large i mean, my country's ran by the tories who are fuelled by hate, the economy's fucked and about to get even more fucked by brexit. the fields i was interested in have been decimated by covid. realistically i don't see this getting better. this isn't a morose suicidal post (i don't feel anything atm tbh) but just - when does "you have to think positive" stop being helpful and start being delusional?
