Car won't start right away after sitting for a long time

2011 4 cyl honda accord, and if it sits for like 10+ hours (like, overnight), I turn the key, it does nothing, does nothing, then starts right up. If it sits for 6ish hours when I'm at work, it starts up just fine, it's really only after sitting overnight that this happens. After the first start, it starts fine the rest of the day. No idea what could be causing this.

So when you say it does nothing, do you mean it cranks and won't start or it won't crank at all? Crank meaning the starter is turning the engine, but the engine won't run.

If I'm extrapolating the right info from what you're saying, it may be a fuel pressure issue. The pump may be failing or the filter may be clogged

I thought the same. Clogged fuel filter

Sounds like the starter relay or the starter are starting to go, at least from what I understand you're saying.

Key held in the start position and no crank on the first try, takes a couple of tries and suddenly the starter engages and cranks, vehicle starts immediately, battery doesn't seem weak. If that's true then I would say that's what is most likely.

A technician after a proper diagnosis will tell you what’s going on
