2021: Favourite hot sauces

Inglehoffer ghost pepper mustard. I always have a bottle of cholula and Sriracha on hand

Mine tend to change when I find new sauces that I like but my favorite store bought sauces, in no particular order, are:

1. Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo. Good medium heat level and great flavor. Love it on soft tacos.
2. Heartbeat Scorpion hot sauce. A little hotter than the Hot One's sauce and a really good pepper flavour. Really good on eggs, breakfast burritos, etc.
3. Hell Fire Detroit: Bourbon Habanero Ghost sauce. Nice amount of higher level heat and the flavour is really nice. You can definitely taste the bourbon, which gives a nice twist to any dish you use it on. Mixed it with some chili and the flavour was really good (spicy bourbon chili).
4. PuckerButt Chipotle eXpress. Lots of heat (it has Pepper X in it) and the flavour is pretty good.
5. Hot Ones Last Dab XXX. Lots of heat and it has a unique, but tasty, flavour. Can definitely taste the ginger in it. I've used this in Butter Chicken before and it was great. Really good with Indian food.

BigFats 308 - Ginger Garlic. Not very hot at all but so good on everything chicken and crab rangoons and a great base for salad dressing.

Scorned Woman Hot Sauce: it’s very peppery (black pepper) don’t let that fool you it’s a little less than da bomb. Has a good taste not just hot

Gator hammock swamp: it’s a buttery southern Florida type sauce. Out of the 4 I have this is the best brand. Not crazy spicy so you can have a lot.

Volcanic Pepper’s I-O-Thor’s Hammer Super Hotsauce. Heat and flavor. Sauce #7 for Hot Ones season 12 and now a frequent favorite of comedian Kyle Kinane. They’re a small shop of good guys from Omaha Nebraska that many times still do farmers markets to move their sauces.

I used to love hot sauces but recently started making them myself. Not the complicated version, just adding carolina reaper powder to sauces I already like.

10/10, would never switch back.

The 2 I went through the most are Yellowbird Habanero and El Yucateco Green.

I have too many others that I rotate through to really pick one as a favorite.
