Home base VS other areas
I purchased ATS and the Colorado addon, Im based in Phoenix AZ, but how do I get job choices out of other locations like Colorado and Nevada etc?

You need to discover the cities in colorado to get jobs from there.

how do I "discover" those other places if I have no loads going there (Colorado) from Phoenix AZ?

You can drive there if you own a truck. If you dont,level up your long distance skill.

The simplest solution - get a job that goes in that direction and drive there. Or buy a garage and travel to the garage.
You cannot select other cities as a starting point/filter for jobs until you have discovered them.

After your first couple jobs in Phoenix the quick jobs listing will start to grow to include more destinations, first in Arizona, then in Colorado and California. The further you drive and more places you discover the more diverse routes you’ll get. I’m level 20 and I’ve only discovered about 63% of the map, currently running a load to an undiscovered border town. I had to search through the External Contracts to page 5/10 in under to find a route going to the undiscovered town though.

thanks, yeah, I finally realized the little pieces I was missing. I deleted all my profiles and started over with one profile based in Phoenix. Im going to work jobs until I can buy my own truck and set up my garage, then start working the freight market, then hopefully hire other drivers and build it up. Thanks for the info :)

They should show up in External contracts. If you're not seeing any, you can refresh, or do some deliveries and those locations will start showing up as destinations.
