Hi, just learning python, not new to programming but new to py. Anyway Im using PyCharm 2021 community edition and I was wondering if there is a way to store .py files globally, like if I make a class or a module that I want to reuse in multiple separate projects, where I can maintain those code files in one place and just Import them into whatever project needs them. I have been trying to find a way to do this but so far no luck. I am currently having to add the files to projects in the scripts folder but this gets tedious, especially if I have to make a change to a class or module, the changes then have to be duplicated in multiple projects. :(

thanks for any help. CR

the 4200 specs:

ATI Radeon HD 4200 Manufacturer ATI Core Speed 500 MHz Max. Amount of Memory 512 MB Shared Memory yes DirectX DirectX 10.1, Shader 4.0

I can only spend around 50$ and only thru amazon. I have an empty pcie 16x slot, I just have no idea about cards these days. I am playing ATS and ETS2 and the 4200 is ok but I know for $50 bucks or so I can make the games look a lot better. I have no clue about todays cards. I need low end yet that stomps on the built in 4200 and it MUST have a VGA connection as my monitor is VGA, and it must be an Nvidia chip, sorry but I don't do ati/amd when it comes to video cards

Its for an HP Pavilion model p6710f that was donated to me by my neighbor

Why is it impossible to find a simple download installer for the latest drivers for the radeon hd 4200? I used that Driver Easy app but after the download it wanted me to upgrade (pay) before it would install the drivers. I chose manual install and it brought me to some directory on my pc with a ton of cryptic files and I had no clue what to do from there, in fact I dont even know where the directory is. Is there an easier solution to update my drivers, like a single exe you run to update the drivers, or instructions on what exactly to do with what that app downloaded to my pc? This is super frustrating! Any help is supremely appreciated

I have a donated HP Pavilion P6710f pc that is running an onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200. The card is ok and supports directx 11 but I cant run games like American Truck Simulator etc at higher end settings. I want to get an inexpensive Nvidia GeForce card for the empty PCIe16x slot but I dont know what series to start in. I guess Im asking whats the least expensive series of gf cards I can look at that will stomp all over the radeon 4200? I havent gamed since the GTX295 was all the rage (several years ago). Any help pointing me in the right direction where to start is super appreciated. Im trying to keep it under $100.

Thanks guys and gals CR

I am in the process of blacking out (fretboard and all hardware) my new Ibanez GSR205 (heres a progress pic - https://imgur.com/UnbyViU) but I am also thinking of clear coating the pickups. Are there any issues with putting a single thin layer of clear coat on the pick ups? will it affect their performance?

thanks in advance
