Just re-started lamotrigine and am hopeful - hey, what's everybody's mbti type?
Yesterday, I had a medication consultation with a psychiatrist, and felt relieved that she really heard me. She confirmed my bipolar disorder diagnosis, and I thanked her, because I struggle with imposter syndrome about the whole thing. Now, I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll start to feel more stable soon
To distract this subreddit from our conditions, I thought that it might be fun to list our mbti types! I'll go first, I'm an ENTP! :)

My friend calls it business astrology :P
It is almost as accurate as astrology. It was made by clueless nobodies, so it has no real research behind it.
It has been debunked, and yet yesterday I found out they still use it in schools! My son did the MBTI in class yesterday. I was surprised that they still use it in that environment. He was surprised that I guessed his type right away.
Much like modern astrology (it's actually incredibly complex if you go back to it's roots - not to say it's correct or anything), I think it can be fun and a nice insight. Like going to a fortune teller or doing tarot. Sure, get some outside thoughts based on what your vibe is. Something to think about. But ultimately it doesn't actually mean anything factual, it's grounded in nothing outside of wide swath archetypes
For sure. As much as mbti is flawed, I really do like how some of it draws from Jung and his cognitive functions. And the memes about it can be a nice mindless distraction sometimes.
