Fantasy book about a thief
I read this in the early 2000s (may have been late 90s). It was about a thief who could control the weight or density of his body. I THINK that a lot of people in this world had some sort of magic but that it could be stolen from them. The thief may have been LGBT but I may be confusing it with the Nightrunner series. Thanks in advance.

I think the book you’re looking for is {{{The Legend of Nightfall}}} by Mickey Zucker Reichart. Your description reminds me of the book.
