4°c ! Ding !
This is my first winter with my Golf GTI and that 4°C ding a few weeks ago scared the crap out of me.
nice! but thats a little over 11,000km. i got my car jan 1 2020 and have put over 30,000km/18,641mi on it. now get out there and have some farfegnugen!
Not the most advisable move, but it’ll make a good deal for whoever buys it after your done with it.
i dont buy cars to sell them i buy cars to drive them.
I bought this car new on new years eve 2019, just hit this milestone.
Current mods -
I also have a JB4, a dashcam, and sequential mirror indicators I plan to install once it gets warmer out.
Heres to 2021!
20% on the windscreen too?
not on windscreen. i do have a 5% strip going across the top portion of it though.
Why does your speedo have MPH and km/h?
Do they sell one type of car for USA and Canada?
I think both will have both units. USA will have mph as primary and small markers for kmh. I think Canadian cars would have the reverse.
Yes usually one type of car for North America. Comes in handy when crossing the border from US to Canada and vice versa. You’re like “holy shit I get to drive 100 km per hour??” and then you feel let down when you realize that’s only 60 mph.
100 km is 62.14 miles
US spec here, I have the same setup. Not sure why.
I don't think I've ever been behind the wheel of a car that didn't have both. Guessing it's either easier to make one speedo for the whole of NA and the US is the biggest market, or they figure enough US folks will be driving to Canada or Mexico that they ought as well put it on there.
The vast majority of cars in the US have both units on the speedo like that. In fact, my Mk6 GTI is the first and only car I've ever had that didn't. It only has MPH, I wonder why they apparently went back to having both...
Couldn't wait 57 more minutes?
haha, i thought of that too, but i was in the boonies and i was hungry lol
