I love this cold

Opinion

I'm sitting here, just coming in from outside. Having grown up in the north, but spending over half my life in the south, chilled to the bone for the first time in so very long. I have missed this shiver.

I like it sometimes. Walking my dog on a clear cold night with good moonlight, then coming in my cozy house and getting warmed up... pretty nice actually.

Next month I'll have been here a year

so you haven't been here a year yet? Wait until it's mid April and starts snowing. You'll be pretty tired of the cold then.

What cold?

For the past five years we've hit zero in early January, except for last year, when it took until 1/17. So far. one day ~25 deg.

In the past five years I've seen one day of snow in Atlanta. This is vastly different. You're all downvoting this post to shit, but I don't give a fuck. I was warned that new England is full of massive dicks who get pissy for no reason.

I'm still enjoying this shit.

Lol all good. I actually like being able to clwp back and nobody takes it personally. Lots of fucking one sided snowflakes in the south. You don't even need politics down there to start a grudge

Lol as somebody who lives in New England and has some family down south, I gotta say, visiting down there, even random people are just a lot friendlier. Not to shit on my fellow New Englanders or anything, but... there’s definitely a lot of massive dicks here who get pissy for no reason, I get what u mean. I love the winter too, but I think having to experience it our whole lives kinda hardens us, gives us a certain bitterness. I’ve learned to appreciate the cold while it’s here. My only complaint is that as a skateboarder, it destroys ours roads and makes it harder to shred lmfao

I don't really mind it. I was bullied relentlessly as a kid, so I know when no harm is meant. "Fuck" around here is a comma lol.

That being said, atlanta is a wonderful place. Great people, great city. It's just too damn hot when it gets 85-90 by 10am
