Usually when you place the order they will debit 1p from your card, and then this is refunded usually within a few days. Could be related to that? Still shouldn’t take this long though

Looking back on my transactions, I have only ordered online from Asda 6 times. I can see the 1p coming out of my account when I place the order but the numerous refunds just don’t make any sense.

For example, I placed an order and money came out my account on 12th September. I then received 1p refunds on 23rd and 30th September & 5th, 6th and 12th October. Strange! (I also received an actual refund in this time for an item that was substituted)

Did you amend the order? I know when you order from Tesco you check out each time you make any changes - maybe they're putting on a 1p holding charge each time?

You used the petrol forecourt? If you use pay at pump they take 1p to prove you have money on the card to pay for the fuel.

No idea then, could just be a backlog from your bank
