Unidentified "linked" account, then primary ID removed from my account.

:snoo_thoughtful: Discussion

a month ago, was looking at my account online, and saw that there was a new "linked" account...some guy in another state that I don't know. Called comcast, they said this unknown account was a prepaid account, and transferred me to a prepaid rep. she spent an hour trying to fix, and in the end, she removed MY primary ID/email from MY account...when i login now, i only see the unknown account, name, address, but i can see my emails, with some of my phone number info mixed with the other guy's info.

have made half a dozen calls specifically speaking with the customer security area ( 888.565.4329 ), gotten 2-3 incident numbers, and most recently was told by what i assume was a tier 3 rep, that he would assign to a team member, and that i would hear back in 3 days. this was monday, and now it's friday. so as it is, i can't view my own account information, and am concerned what the linked account guy can see of MY info. remarkably frustrating.

Greetings, u/bjsc1100! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on Reddit. I hope you are having an amazing day! I apologize to hear of the issue you are running into when it comes to your user ID and your account. Based on the number you provided that is to our Customer Security Assurance. That was certainly the correct team to work with in this situation. At this time I would recommend following up with this group again with your ticket numbers to see if there have been any further updates. I certainly apologize for the inconvenience.
