Just to get a general grip on who falls into what general category of beliefs. Crossposting this to more mainstream trans subs, it seemed the post was either ignored or downvoted. So far it seems there are more truscum/transmedical leaning users. I highly encourage everybody to share this with people you know, no matter what side of the discussion they’re on.

I'm neutral. I don't care whether or not you need it to be trans, but I am tired of my brother-in-law speaking over me and telling me that since he'd be okay in a female body that I should too, even after I have patiently explained my diagnosis to him.
Yeah, this is exactly what I would expect. These sorts of people refuse to engage in any kind of discussion at all. Discussion, you see, is hate speech.
Its the exact same thing on the fediverse, all the transmeds just hang around in the general population of regular folks. All the tucute types have walled themselves off behind shared blocklists and only ever see people who are exactly like them.

Same with people who have truscum-leaning views. There are more people willing to label themselves truscum than those who are willing to label themselves tucute I think, but I wasn’t sure if tucutes called themselves tucutes sometimes
From what I've seen, never. At least not in their own or neutral spaces.
I really hope some "tucutes" decide to join. I want this sub to be open to all. Let's be careful how we post and try not to turn this into a solely transmed/truscum space.
I also wish tucutes had a different name. Ironically, the term was coined by a tucute but I always feel like I'm needlessly insulting a group of people when using it.
Cannot vote, but I would definitely be "The Other" here in contrast to truscum and transmedicalists. Really don't consider myself tucute as I see my opinions just largely reflect those of mainstream trans community.
i’m neither. i feel its sorta restrictive to put all of my beliefs into one box, that personally feels impossible to do. i also just feel terms like tucute and truscum are super outdated, anyway.

I think you completely misunderstand what truscum is. Where you would sit is outside of this poll or with the tucutes. I said maybe the tucutes because you deny science(gender dysphoria is a proven condition), and they do the same thing but for different reasons(wanting to modify what is proven to make it either utterly meaningless or gone completely).

Yeah. That’s about what I was expecting. I was curious if there were any tucutes at all. There’s been more Tucute-ish leaning people but I wasn’t sure if they called themselves tucute or find themselves in the middle of the argument
I think this really is the thing: most people don't call themselves "tucute" as truscum/transmedicalists are seen as the out-group. If I had to describe myself with something in regards to intracommunity discourse, I would use the term inclusionist, being opposed to exclusionism. Or simply anti-truscum.
