from rain to tears (cinquain)

storm clouds

grey and windy,

filling up with water,

droplets falling on everything,

teardrops

this is interestingly metaphysical. i like your descriptive verbiage: “grey and windy” work perfectly together. my one critique is maybe consider taking out “down,” as i think it’s a bit redundant and weighs down an otherwise concise poem.

I like how every line has some suggestion towards rain ~ though the poem is about tears --- even if it's implicitly suggested through "grey clouds" and "storm clouds". There is a good build up to the final line which is shorter than the rest. It builds up structurally and climaxes on a short "teardrops"... Good work!

Every line of this poem is a soothing lul to carry the reader right to the "teardrops". The pacing is great and is consistent. Imagery is achieved with little to work with. Great job :)
