oh, interesting. is this a reference to trading stocks? it's kinda sad to link money with joy, but i know youre not necessarily doing it here. It's just a metaphor for what's boiling beneath. I like the simplicity and the clearness of what you mean. Solid title. Interesting piece.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not linking money with happiness, I'm just making a comparison. Stop loss is how much money you can lose before quiting, so here, would be how much happiness you can lose before quiting.

As a finance student I absolutely love this. Just because I can relate to both the title and the poem itself. Stop loss is really a measure how much you’re willing to bend before snapping really, and you’re supposed to get out just before that point, if it comes to that.

When I’m comparing it the way you did in your poem, I’m thinking, if you’re losing happiness, and you’re bending and almost snapping, you should quit at that point. So what would happen if you didn’t quit, stayed alive and snapped? Would it be a bad business decision? Thought provoking poem hahaha Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I was afraid I was using the term in a wrong way, but apparently I could convey my message. I'm glad you liked it.
