Help: "New Login Alert" emails from Instagram are suddenly in another language

Very sorry if this isn't the place to post this question. I know it's a request for technical support but I've tried to use help.instagram.com and their help files aren't very helpful.

Out of nowhere, I started getting every "new login alert" email in Portuguese. I checked in the "emails sent from instagram" part of the web client and it's definitely legitimate email from Instagram... just randomly in another language.

I don't speak Portuguese, and I didn't change any settings. I still get my password change emails in English, so I have absolutely no clue what's going on or how to fix it. It's really annoying.

I've tried to change the language through my app (on iPhone, it just redirects me to my settings, which are already in English). Didn't work.

I also tried changing it from desktop, but the help article isn't accurate. Unless I'm missing something totally obvious, there's no language option under Edit Profile.

I know it's a small thing in the scheme of what matters in life, but it makes my eye twitch every time I see it. Does anyone know wtf is going on and how I can fix it?
