In trying to change my name, I actually encountered several hiccups and road bumps. I wish there had been some kind of breakdown to help me so I figured I would write one for you to share with you all.

The paralegal we hired to file the divorce told me that I could just use the divorce decree he emailed me, which contradicts everything on the Social Security Administration's website and just didn't sound right. (He also titled the email, "Congratulations, you're divorced!" which made me pause but whatever)

How to change your name after divorce

It turns out that you cannot actually use just the printed divorce decree to do all of this. You’ll be turned away from the Social Security admi

I need your insights on the line between personal freedom (thriving/living a great life where you're happy), and healthy compromise in a relationship.

I hope this meets rule #6, and I apologize if it doesn't.

This post is partially in response to this post, as well as some other commentary I've seen around Goby's lackluster customer service over the last 6-ish months.

It's difficult to figure out how to cancel your subscription, and after lots of angrily mashing buttons and clicking things in their account portal, I finally figured it out.

  1. Login to your account

  2. Click "Refills" (on the top left)

Very sorry if this isn't the place to post this question. I know it's a request for technical support but I've tried to use help.instagram.com and their help files aren't very helpful.

Out of nowhere, I started getting every "new login alert" email in Portuguese. I checked in the "emails sent from instagram" part of the web client and it's definitely legitimate email from Instagram... just randomly in another language.

I don't speak Portuguese, and I didn't change any settings. I still get my password change emails in English, so I have absolutely no clue what's going on or how to fix it. It's really annoying.

I've tried to change the language through my app

I just bought my Boox Onyx Max Lumi 13.3" for my daily writing, but the on-screen keyboard is really frustrating me.

Ideally, I would like to minimize the on-screen keyboard completely and basically pretend it doesn't exist. How do I do this?

The on-screen keyboard is incredibly distracting every time it pops up, and I don't need it since I use an external keyboard.

Things I've tried so far:

  • I paired my everyday JellyComb bluetooth keyboard, but the on-screen keyboard kept popping up randomly while I typed.
  • Also with my JellyComb, the Chinese keyboard kept turning on. Found out that installing the Gboard (Android app through the play store) and using it as your default seemed to
