Eren is great because of character development not foreshadowing

Serious

I read a lot of " foreshadowing" phrases that people use to predict the AoT ending like the " Armin will save the world" or the " I will destroy the world form Eren".

The greatness of AoT is not based on 3 random phrases to explain the characters decision, This is not GoT season 8 where using a season one phrase is enough to justify a character decision.

Eren's development is based on suffering, anger, and self-reflection. The decision to destroy the world is a natural evolution of his character made by his actions, not random words.

I hate when people put in the same sack character development with foreshadowing, they look back at the " I will destroy the world " and say " oH lOok tHat's wHY hE is dOInG it ", ignoring all development and summing everything up in one sentence that doesn't even have a single meaning.

Literally no one is saying the things you mentioned. No one ever said "He said he will destroy the world in anime S1 and That's Why he is doing it. You are projecting hard.

The OP isn't inciting anything and just talking about how some people seem to mistake "foreshadowing" as "motive" for decisions.

Idk why you're getting so defensive lmao

Op didn't provoke anything of that sort. If anything it makes your response incredibly childish.
