A fan written ending is somehow "disrespectful to Isayama". Or thinking a fan ending is better than the actual ending is disrespectful?

Harrassment and death treats are disrespectful. Criticising and saying you didn't like a story isn't disrespectful. And these dedicated fans who chose to write a fan ending are the ones facing harrasement and being disrespected. Isayama is an adult who chose to join one of the most pressurised writing industries, criticism is to be expected.

Even students who write anything in university get they shouldn't write things they don't understand. Or they research until they do understand. This applies to many industries like music, literature, science and med

Imagine being a Paradisian and know that the ambassadors sent to negotiate peace with you are made up of people who either:

  1. Betrayed your island despite knowing and accepting it put all islanders at risk.

  2. Previously commited genocide on thousands of your people to save their individual family members

Not even one of these ambassadors are victims from the outside world who genuinely want peace with Paradis. Even Muller would have been a better choice to put in there.

What Romance

Discussion

Armin puts the absolute most faith in Annie despite she actually killing their people and saying she will do it again. Develops a crush on her for reasons he never actually says. Also Annie actually responsible for Marco's death but it's fine in his eyes.

Also Armin loses so much faith in his best friend for fighting in a war that was declared on them.

Isayama if you want to write romance how about actually developing what those characters think of each other instead of randomly throwing it in!

Isayama have ruined an incredible series, left unfilled plot holes, inconclusive character arcs and seeded things that never happened.

I will do my best to tell people just how shitty of an ending this was. Eren was an amazing character, one of the best in shounen history, and isayama gave his ending to half a cast that didn't matter and the other half who were already dead.

I had a document that was over 2000 words long just explain ing the power of eren's character and I still intend to post it because fuck it, fans know this story better than isayama does.

Thank you to all fans who did believe in eren's character cause ultimately we do know better.

Young ymir desired to free individuals from cruel fate, like freeing the pigs. That reflects Eren's personality from the beginning like freeing Mikasa from kidnappers.

Ymir looked longingly at a married couple as though she wanted love or parental figures. Later in life ymir took on roles and blame so that she can be loved and respected, not caring for herself as a result. She echoes Historia's life from young to her teenage years.

Now Eren has freed her and she gets to be selfish once in her life. Who better to guide her into a new world, free of burden than Eren and Historia themselves.

It's not copium, it makes narrative sense.

I, myself believe in the idea of pacifism. I am an extremely passive person and have often been described as such. The idea of pacifism is not wrong in any way, it is a brave and proud virtue to live by. Yet Armin’s portrayal of it in the manga is flawed, underdeveloped and at many points hypocritical. In short, he was extremely idealistic and did not even back up his beliefs.

Armin relied on others to end the conflict for him and put him in a position to negotiate. He himself could not envision those negotiations, he like other leader’s in Paradis rely on the threat of the rumbling as a scare tactic for the next 50 years. For the sake of keeping this post relatively short (ngl it’s still

Lately there has been overwhelming hate and negative bias on WIT studio for the past 3 seasons in response to the change to MAPPA. These “fans” act as if they are doing MAPPA a favour but all it does it make AOT fans seem like ungrateful people who not only misunderstand the animation industry but act as if WIT was not responsible for turning AOT into a modern anime classic.

This is not the way I wish to enter season 4 nor is it the way I wish to remember the greatness that has been attack on titan animated. As someone who has also worked on

Here's my two cents on child eren's pose in this chapter. I've seen some reader's think this is child eren in real time relishing at the destruction of the rumbling like a psychotic deranged maniac.

I interpret that panel to be much sadder. Its not a current child eren relishing at the rumbling. Eren clearly shows remorse for his actions and appears to be in a sleep state right now. I think his memories and dreams, dreaming of the outside world when he was younger is seeping into the paths world. His dream was pretty much shattered but he longed for it to happen.

So what Armin saw was more of an apparition of a past eren. The panel itself artistically overlaps child eren dreaming of an id

That's it! I've had it. Isayama has been teasing eren and his massive pp for too long. 6 months ago I drew, edited, and posted here eren's fine ass into the manga. Before this series end it is my duty to draw in that freedom schlong. Unrivaled and free! No pants shall imprison the Chad love sausage.

Watch out zook, you're younger brother's dong is going to impregnate every person who gazes upon its beauty.

With the alliance and theories about what comes next, I only have one request...

Please let eren and ymir have a father daughter moment before this series ends. Seriously that is the most wholesome shit which actually stays true to their characters thus far. Isayama pls at least one more scene with these two together.

Wierd characterisation

Spoiler[126] New Chapter Spoilers - Serious

Chapter 111: Mikasa hugs Gabi, a girl who shot her friend, showed compassion and asked if she was ok.

Chapter 126: Mikasa coldly shows no compassion to a girl who wants to save her people and is dying with a shrapnel in her chest.

I understand people who say Mikasa is not the most socially adept individual but the difference is so jarring.

Alliances

Spoiler[126] New Chapter Spoilers - Serious

I know I'm not the only one thinking that characters felt off and motivations were lacking this chapter.

Paradis characters aside what about Marley and warrior characters. Their entire motivation was to capture the founder and genocide everyone on Paradis. That hasn't changed and they invaded shinganshina to do the exact same thing. They already had assumptions that the wall rumbling was a threat yet still went to kill paradisians.

So now eren declares genocide on them, like they were expecting, and suddenly they side with paradisians and are willing to talk to them. What a bunch of hypocrites. What about all those people you killed, erwin included, because you decided to kill first talk l

Admist all the interesting new characters and debates about character development and arcs, it's nice to see so many fans still love levi and happy he's alive.

He's always been a great character and there's a reason why we cheer when he's in battle. Yes look at how they massacred our boy but Im glad he's alive and wrapped up adorablly. Let this man catch some sleep.
