Just looking for a good pull-in site to take the kids close by- any suggestions? we are going basic with a tent, and would prefer to at least be away from the RV section on a flat wooded site- any suggestions?

Big Bone Lick State Park is about 30 min. from Downtown Cincy. Kincaid Lake is about an hour, give or take. Both are in KY.
John Bryan State Park is nice. It's outside of Dayton/Xena.

Hueston Woods has great low challenge hiking for little kids too.
A nice quiet spot is Lake Cowan to the NE.
Pretty sure Winton Woods even has a bunch of car spots with hook-ups and such.
Eastfork Lake over between Batavia and Williamsburg...it's about a 45 minute drive east but it's pretty nice.
Hueston Woods is an hour away, it is pretty nice. Hocking hills is 2-3 hrs away but it is magnificent.
