Took our daughter in to have wart removed and doctor spilled the freezing agent on her foot. Caused a huge blister, and as it has healed it has left a large scar and bubbled skin, causing some loss of mobility (ability to bend toe). Not looking to sue doctor or hospital, but do want them to cover cost of whatever we can do to correct damage. Is there a way to have this conversation with hospital, or do I need to hire a lawyer?

Took my daughter in to to have a wart removed by general practitioner. Doctor used a freezing agent to remove wart and spilled it on top of foot/toe. Created a huge blister and as it has healed has left a scar that has bubbled up in spots and decreased some mobility. Not looking to sue the doctor or hospital, but do want them to cover the cost of fixing the damage done (as much as possible). Is there a process to have this conversation with the hospital or do I have to get a lawyer?

Coming to interview in Singapore from the States. Normally I would wear a full suit, but it appears that most folks in the company (including higher ups) wear short sleeves. In the States, I would wear the suit regardless (it is an interview) in this situation- Advice for Singapore culture?

Edit: Thanks all- in sum I am reading that the culture (in this case) is similar enough to the US that I'll make the same choices I would here.

Each has played with our iPhone or iPad, or an older game boy etc. We are ruling out the leapfrog because the games are expensive, and it just doesn't offer the ability to download/upgrade with age as we go. At first glance, the Fire makes sense, but I like the idea of linking them into our apple network (nice work Apple). So, looking for advice, I am going to get 3 devices, but they don't have to be the same...thanks all

Just picked up Mark Lawrence's Prince of Thorns this weekend, and not seen it here on the page- check it out-like the book equivalent of a "Popcorn Movie" - a great fun read about a young prince running with a band of outlaws setting out to take over the known world. Plenty of fast action, character death, good v. evil (really less evil v. evil), and sex and violence. http://www.princeofthorns.com/

edit: Vorkosigan, not Vorgenson

3rd child- the last one was crawling at 5 months- this one only wants to walk (loves standing and trying to walk) but refuses to crawl- so is this normal- and not harmful? Now our aunt is telling us not crawling means other developmental problems in the future....

EDIT: so a big thank you all around- just needed to hear other stories on this...
