Upgrade from 2500k

So finally Im looking to upgrade from the 2500k.
Im using the PC for gaming, programming and some 3d rendering like testing stuff, no heavy overnight rendering.
I have 1060 6G and I don't plan to change it in the next 2 years, I play on 1080p 60
I was looking into the 3600x($240 without fan) or the newer 5600x ($427). The price difference is almost double while looking at benchmarks its not that huge.
My concern is if the 5600x is better for the future where I might upgrade the GPU.
I have not looked that much into Intel but I could take a look if there is something better there.

either the regular 3600 or the 10400f. 10700f could be an option too.

Why the regular 3600? What is the difference

it's cheaper. the 3600x is basically just a factory overclocked 3600. depends on the price though but usually the regular 3600 is only 180$ so the extra price for the 3600x just isn't worth it.

In my country the difference is less than $10
