Every. Single. Race. At that track was amazing. So silly they stopped.
Montreal played hardball to get a Cup race and NASCAR wasn't as in on road courses then as they are now
NASCAR needs to go back there
+1. Would love to see NASCAR do a Canadian swing and promote it like the same way they do the west coast races
Damn what a finish. Don't forget our boy Kligerman in the top 10.
In a penske-prepped k motorsports car no less
“I am invincible!”
SAID HEADS RISE UP
See my flair
This was the most excited I've ever been for a race finish
No way NASCAR lets that race finish like that now, with a car sitting on the grass and a driver walking away. That's a caution 100 times out of 100.
The cynic in me says no caution because it was Robby Gordon.
I don't even think that's particularly cynical
Man Montreal really had some amazing races, i wish they never stopped going there, it was really the only Nationwide race that I looked forward to every year. I was really pulling for Villeneuve to pull off the win in this race, he got so close to winning it so many times.
This still stands as one of my all-time favorite races. I loved Montreal so much
I fucking love Montreal
Edit: For the record I didn't know Boris Said had an earlier Truck win in Sonoma. Hell I didn't know they ran at Sonoma at all.
