LPT: While autorunning with 'Q' you can hold right click to steer.
Just putting this out there because we're 60+ hours in and didn't know this, god rest my fingers.

120 hours, didn't know this, thanks
Holy crap. I knew about the Q auto run but moving the camera wasn’t changing direction.
I really needed this information, thanks!
thank you for this. goddamn rocks
Ctrl+clicking will allow you to move things to and from your storage box, as well as dropping unwanted items! 35 hours in before I this figured out
I didn’t know you could auto run. I put a lithium battery on my W key to auto run. Me dumb.
You can also look around with your head on a swivel when auto running without also running the direction you’re looking!

That is auto run (jogging maybe). You can't sprint
I discovered this by accident around 30 hours in. Also, while auto running I will hold shift to sprint a bit.
I tend to use it though when recovering stamina and looking at the map.
What's the usecase of autowalking? I feel like I'm missing something..
It's just a quality of life thing, if you have to run long distances.
Also just press q again to change your direction after you move the camera
Alternatively, you can also just click the right-mouse button to change direction to the camera's current viewing direction, this allows you to both look around by not holding rightmouse and instantly change direction when needed by only tapping r-mouse once :)
Hope we get a toggle sprint sometime soon. Auto run is basically pointless without holding sprint. Which then kinda defeats the purpose of not needing to hold W.
