The Gyr Abania memories took me 90 fates to get all 18.
I had 1 of these memories from the raid, got another 8 last night after 31 fates (which I thought was pretty good), and then just streaked out today and got 9 memories in 17 fates which you can see in the log.
All in all took me 1 raid, 90 gyr abania fates, and 48 far east fates for this step. I don't think I'll come close to the rng on this streak again anytime soon haha

Nah, that's about right with the buffed drop rate. I calculated a 25%ish drop rate after finishing mine which is about the same as yours.

It took me ~2 hours each in the Lochs and Azim Steppes, to get all the things plus 1. Then I made dummy weapons that I keep in my saddlebag to keep the quests active for future weapons, and I stopped counting, but I just checked my bag and I have between 19 and 43 of each of the kinds of memories at the moment, and I've mostly just been hanging out in Bozja, doing Bozja stuff for the past week or so.
Edit: Also almost capped on coins in that timespan, and capped on Revelations.
