Until now
Until then, We spent our days as intertwined As climbing vines Our tastes, thoughts and movements aligned Like stars in a constellation Of our own design
Hearts clinging to the hope that tomorrow would never arrive, That the bubble holding us together would never be burst by the needle of reality That sews us a tapestry, choosing the parts of our lives that we can't control
Until now, When everything has changed Tomorrow has come bringing the truths that yesterday was too gentle to burden us with.

I like this, because, and this could just be more a result of the state of mind I’m in, but it’s gentle with its harshness if that makes sense. Like it’s about enjoying a moment that wouldn’t last, both as it’s happening and retrospectively, it’s written in both perspectives remembering it and in it, perhaps in it retrospectively. Idk. But I do know that I like the way you captured it. It stings but I guess to me seems to try an emphasize the joy of it happening over the pain it didn’t and or wouldn’t last.
