I will never understand how anyone can dislike Out Of My Mind given the insane build-up and breakdown it has.

I kinda like it. I think the production really ruins it for me and I think the chorus is really basic. everything in between lyrics wise is really good.
Definitely felt like this needed to simmer and have a read my mind type of shift.

It's weird because I actually find it to have some of the best production of their entire discography. Put on the right headphones, and the synth absolutely slams with power the entire time.

My least favorite on my favorite album. It's a fine song, but can't hold a candle to SKOL/Rut/LTC/RFC for me. And "can't get you out of my bed" is just...no.

I could see how the lyrics aren’t great, but the track is just...incredible. It sounds like such a classic ‘80s song while being new at the same time. It just has chill vibes to me and that’s the kind of shit I think is great.

Its my least favorite as well to be honest. The lyrics are mediocre (as you mentioned) AND it is just very overproduced imo.

Yeah the whole album just feels saturated with the production. Personally I think its a bad album and one which I never go back to. Battle born I didn't like but I still think its a good album but its just not what I wanted.

I see “overproduced” thrown around a whole lot on this subreddit, and I’m not sure everybody is aligned on that they think it means.
Edit: got downvoted because I pointed out a genuine concern on this subreddit.
To clarify, when you say “overproduced” do you mean too clean? Too many layers? Or the opposite? Too muddy? Too cluttered? Too many weird noises?
Have a conversation with somebody and try to understand their ideas and how they see things before you decide to downvote them to hell and back.

Almost all their shit these days is mediocre and overproduced. This is all they offer anymore are these cookie cutter canyon of synthesizer sounding songs. It’s been that way for a couple albums now. Bring back the guitars or at least get creative and bring a change of pace. I pray TK7 isn’t Wonderful Wonderful part 3 because part 2 (ITM) just wasn’t enough of this sound? Cmon guys.....step outside the air is fine. Scale it back, bring back the guitar and let’s go.

Everything in Wonderful Wonderful is overproduced. I really started to like Out of My Mind over time because it's one of the most chill TK songs ever. Also, I like imagining Brandon boasting about his feats to Tana and she's just not caring.
