Auto Body Shop Recommendation

Ask Surrey

I've got some dings and scratches on my car and it may be time get that sorted. Can anyone recommend a good place to get this done? I'm guessing it'll be somewhere in the Newton area, as that seems to be the prime spot for this for some reason, but I'm flexible.

Edit: Thanks for the suggestions! Guess I have some phoning around to do. :-)

I’d recommend S&S Autobody. It’s a dad and son owned shop. Brought both my cars for work there and they do a really good job for a fair price.

I've taken my car to Dan the Man's autobody shop before. It's family owned and the prices are very reasonable. They're located in Whalley, near City Centre. "Dan The Man Autobody & Glass Surrey | ICBC Accredited Autobody Repair Shop" https://danthemans.ca

Haha just make sure not to leave your car outside overnight

Dan the man is awesome. They do a great job and super honest, try and save ya money when they can. They have a good reputation among other mechanics as well. Family run!

Prime collision hands down. It is on 108th and about 148th behind the DQ. Only place I take a vehicle for body work now, been going there for 20+ years.

Cloverdale Auto Body was fast and courteous for me. The work was also an ICBC claim, so do what you will with that information. Not in the Newton area but just my 2 cents.

I had my Malibu rear ended last year. Every other auto-body place gave an estimate that was worth more than the car. Norm at Carsmen Collision asked me by budget and was able to repair everything perfectly within that amount. Great work, highly recommended. Took two vehicles to Essex Collision Services (I was going to call it Essex Autobody until I looked it up). http://www.essexcollision.ca/

I was honestly surprised how good they were. Turned around a lease return repair in literally 24 hours and did an amazing job.

The second vehicle was an older vehicle and I needed a non-insurance claim repair and they handled it quite well and gave a great price.

Depending on the scratch’s you may be able to polish it out ( google shine X ) they can get 100% of surface scratch’s out. and for dents, mobile dent removal guys can do it sometimes for a couple hundred dollars. ( legacy auto helped me out once, but they are car dealer not a body shop ) Hope that helps out

Yeah, maybe. But at least one is beyond that - close encounters with concrete columns don’t polish off. :-)
