Dinnerly Delivery Reliability

I used Dinnerly for a couple of years and was quite happy with them. Then, around November of last year, I started regularly receiving my boxes 2 days late. I tried switching my delivery days, but no matter what day I chose, it was always 2 days late. This went on until mid-January when I decided that enough was enough and switched services.

I understand that things were probably pretty crazy for any delivery service, what with the pandemic and the holidays. I'd kind of like to go back to Dinnerly, but I'm wondering if things have calmed down and their delivery has gotten back on track.

Did anyone else experience poor service during the holidays? If so, has it been corrected?

I use Hello Fresh and had the same problem. They resent one box and refunded others. This week I got my box on time and the food was fresh.

I'm currently using EveryPlate. I like them well enough, but so many of their recipes seem to be spicy and both my son and I are complete wimps when it comes to heat. So, I wind up getting the spicy dishes because I like the base concept, then leave out the peppers/spices.

I always keep potatoes and carrots on hand as filler. I'm super lazy, so roasting is my go-to method of cooking them.

It's just me and my son, here, so I only need two portions per meal, anyway. I could try and stretch them out but I know how I am. I'm not going to eat leftovers. It's best if I stick to two portions then just make something else cheap on days between meal kits. (I usually fall back on spaghetti or beans & rice.)

Dinnerly's service is not good I tried it once last week my box came late with no notice and a part of the salsa packaging broke and I had to clean everything before putting it away. No one got back to me for a week
