I just bought Farever, today, and am having a blast! But, I was wondering if it's okay to just run in and help people without grouping up (not in a dungeon.) I saw someone fighting the giant slime in the newbie zone and I hopped into the fight without thinking. I'm pretty used to modern MMOs that don't penalize anyone for helping, anymore.

But, now I am second guessing if I made a mistake. Can I steal from people by doing that? Take xp or loot?

So, when I first tried Everweave, I was taking it for a test drive and didn't put as much effort into my background\description as I normally would. Of course, I fell in love with the app, my character, and the story. Now, I want to add to my background. I don't see a way to do that manually, myself. (Unless I am just missing it, which is entirely possible!) Can I ask the DM to update my background and description for me?

This is a small, completely unnecessary suggestion, but one that I would like to have. Could we please get a sort by planted? I like to plant a row of everything on my farm. (Yeah, it means I level things more slowly but I like the variety.) I totally understand that I can just mouse over the items to see what I have planted, already. It would just be a small convenience to have them all grouped together.

Would it be possible to add a toggle for the farmhand grid overlay? It would make it so much easier to be able to keep the grid up when I am not standing on the farmhand. It would make planning and placing things within the grid much more convenient! (Or, is there a toggle and I've just missed it?)

Someone on here suggested generating summaries for journal entries (I'm sorry, I forgot who suggested it so I can't give credit but... thank you!!) and I have been using it for awhile to make my life easier. But, with the new build, my Kins now refuse to generate a summary. If I try, they just say, "No! Our time is precious, and I won't belittle it by summarizing it." Which is neat! I'm glad they are more expressive. But, I am lazy and I really liked the summary. Has anyone else run into this and figured out a way to fix it? Below is the phrasing that I used to use:

<Generate a precise, truthful summary of the existing transcript in third-person, past tense, in 80 to 90 words.>

Back in FT1, I used a lot of trees and crops as decorations, but I felt compelled to harvest and water them all because of the icons over them. And, honestly, it was a hassle. (I know that I had the option of ignoring them but... no I didn't. XD)

Would it be possible to create a new terrain/plot type where, if you plant something on it, it no longer shows the harvest/water icons? I have no idea how difficult that would be to code, but I figured it doesn't hurt to toss out ideas!

I've been considering Harvest Moon: One World for awhile, but never pulled the trigger on it. Well, it's part of a Fanatical bundle, along with a couple other games I wouldn't mind having, so I'm giving it more serious consideration.

However, I have read complaints that the PC controls are atrocious. Is it as bad as the Steam reviews let on? (I tend to take those reviews with a grain of salt.) They make it sound like it's unplayable on the PC.

Hi guys! So, back in 2021 I created a Guilded server for older gamers but it didn't take off. A few of my personal friends joined but didn't use it because they were pretty well dug into Discord. With the creation of this subreddit, I figured I would reopen Old Fogey Gamers.

I would like for this server to be a nice supplement for the GenXGamers subreddit. I figure that people will mostly chat here. But, the server would be a much easier way to coordinate if any of us would like to actually get together and play, knowing that we would be doing so with folks close to our own age.

You do not have to download a new app for Guilded. You can use it in a browser, which is what I do. Guilded off

Hi! I did a quick Google search on this and didn't turn up anything. But, I may not have gone deep enough into the search results or have worded my search badly. At any rate, I was wondering if any of you had run into this. I'm not sure if it's a bug or caused by something that I'm not aware of.

I was just standing in Bree at the task board, getting quests, when I was suddenly surrounded by gas and my character started coughing. I then moved to turn in the quests to the dude (whose name I forget) and my character suddenly catches on fire.

As I continued around Bree, just selling stuff and going about my business, this kept happening. I'd either find myself suddenly standing in a gas AoE ar

I got into the temple and have placed 3 pink crystals in the staff/pedestal things. I've placed one staff in a circle on the leftmost platform and it lit up, shooting a beam of light at one of the crystals at the base of the lady statue.

However, I can't for the life of me get the other two to work!

I have taken each staff and placed it on each circle on the middle and rightmost platforms. Nothing.

I switched the staves on the platforms, thinking that maybe it needed to be a specific one (even though they look the same) and then rotated them through all the circles. Nothing.

I've messed around, trying to see if they

I am buying myself a birthday present and am trying to decide whether to buy Olympia Soiree or Dairoku. I'm hoping you kind folks can help me make a decision.

I tend to like stories that have a clear sense of danger and urgency. If there's a chance the MC or LIs might die, that's a good thing, to me. That makes me feel like my choices have weight and consequences. My favorite otome are things like Collar x Malice and Code: Realize. Piofiore was kind of slow in certain routes, but I still loved it because I had a sense that things could go sideways at any time. (And, boy... did they go sideways in some of the bad endings!)

I will tell you that Cafe Enchante bored me to tears. I wanted to lo

I used Dinnerly for a couple of years and was quite happy with them. Then, around November of last year, I started regularly receiving my boxes 2 days late. I tried switching my delivery days, but no matter what day I chose, it was always 2 days late. This went on until mid-January when I decided that enough was enough and switched services.

I understand that things were probably pretty crazy for any delivery service, what with the pandemic and the holidays. I'd kind of like to go back to Dinnerly, but I'm wondering if things have calmed down and their delivery has gotten back on track.

Did anyone else experience poor service during the holidays? If so, has it been corrected?

I was going through my pet shelter and trying to sort them out (goodness, but what I wouldn't give for a way to sort my pets so I can easily see which I have multiples of!)... and it occurred to me to ask myself a question: Once I have a pet spell from a pet, do I need to make sure that I keep at least one pet with that skill? Will I lose the skill if I release the last pet that has it?

I'm just trying to get rid of my duplicate pets and I don't know if I should be paying attention to who has what skills when I do so.
