Due to an increase in the popularity of our Dating Posts we have revamped and updated the way you are required to submit your ad.

ABOUT PHOTOS:

Photos are optional however you will gain more attention if you include a nice close up of your face. For the guys - While shirtless photos are allowed they may not appeal to everyone and may portray yourself as only having that to offer. No nude, salacious, sexually explicit or inappropriate photos are allow and bans may be imposed at the mods discretion. If you are too shy to post a photo in the sub try to have a face photo on your profile but again this is optional.

3. ABOUT ME:

The About Me section should include things about you that will attract a potential date. At the very least it must have your hobbies and interests. But you could also include your goals, dreams, education, work etc

Example:

I enjoy hiking and playing football. I work in the medical field so I like to de-stress at the gym when I can. I can cook a mean steak and enjoy socialising with friends. I'm hoping to travel to Europe when covid is a thing of the past.

Bad example:

I go to college and I play hockey. (This tells us nothing about who you are or your personality)

4. SEEKING:

What and who are you looking for? Just saying "a cougar" or "a cub" means nothing to us. You should be able to tell us the kind of person you would enjoy dating.

Examples:

A) I'm looking for a fun lady who would be up for spending time with me and my dog hiking. Someone who enjoys the outdoors, camping and fishing

B) I'm looking for a partner in crime, someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously but could be down for nerdy conversations about the latest Sci Fi series or watching some obscure horror movie, bonus points if you can quote from The Mandalorian.

C) I'm looking for a guy who would be open to trying new things such as learning to surf or salsa dancing. Someone who enjoys travel and is an animal lover as I have a Great Dane

Bad example:

I'm looking for a cougar because they know what they want and are much more mature. (This tells us nothing... This fits 95% of all the women on this sub)

5. SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT ME:

Please tell us something unique or Interesting about yourself. A fun fact, something that will catch our eye or be a conversation starter.

Examples:

A) I have 3 tattoos one represents my best friend who passed away, the other two I designed myself.

B) I love trying new foods and cuisine but the worst thing I've ever eaten was fried grasshoppers in Thailand.

C) My greatest achievement was climbing Mt Kilimanjaro

Bad Example:

I play baseball on the weekends (this doesn't show what's unique about you)
