since big companies are responsible for up to 71% greenhouse gas emission, why not abolish the big companies?

Well, it's more of a question of how do we force these companies to act reasonably. If they where made a public good the goverment would have to be responsible for their actions. But that would never happen in today's world.

It's obvious that change won't come from above, and the bottom, the average don't realize those things enough. If take action, appeal to the ones on bottom, never to above.

If I were to choose action, it would be classical, propaganda efforts, from posters and spreading information to manifestations and proper action.

a success never comes itself, it has to be achieved.

I agree, change has to come from the masses, only they can inspire those at the top to take proper measures. But not under a liberal democracy. As money speak louder than a million souls!
