Players and Coaches on the Hot Seat?

OWL

Since we're getting close to the beginning of the season, who do you think this season is on the hot seat, in that they have one final chance for you. For example, OGE. He has been on the Glads and the Fuel and he has constantly been hot and cold without fulfilling that potential he has shown. This, as I can see, is the final chance for him. He's on a fully Korean team, he's got great healers, a great coach in Kuki and he can fully show his potential. He's on the hot seat this season to show up, I believe.

DPEI for Glads is 100% on a make or break year. Has had great rosters before even if S3 had issues, this guy had Void and Decay at one point, along with the Finnish supports arguably in their prime, the one excuse is Roar but at the time he was coming off a dominant contenders season playing a 3-4 losing series against the legendary Runaway roster. Point is, I personally don’t think his results are good relative to the talent levels he’s had to work with, and this is by far the most talented squad he’s worked with. I don’t think Glads can finish outside of top 2 and keep him tbh

I agree he's on the hot seat but if we finish #4 behind Shock, Dragons, and Washington, I don't think dpei is gone.

I think this year is linkzer's last year to show consistency if he doesn't show up i can't see him in the league next year.

Well he was super consistent last season. So it's not about that anymore. Regardless this might be his last season (maybe even out of his own will) as he's been playing since the very beginning.

I disagree the entire Houston team was inconsistent last year, Linkzer was part of that.

I'd argue that Linkzr was still individually consistent. Him and Danteh. And to some degree MekO.

Whatever his consistency was last season, the fact that he didn't play when they needed him at the start means he can't be viewed as consistent.

We don't know what happened at the start of the season. There are just rumors of him not "feeling it" and thus not playing but nothing was confirmed. So we can only speculate. Or then we could just simply judge him based on the games he actually played (= consistent).

He was consistent when he played, but this is like saying someone isn't injury prone because they look great when they're not on the injured list. As far as we know, he took himself out of the lineup entirely because he wasn't playing well. If we take them at their own word he was inconsistent last year.

Sephy is (or at least was) a great scout but he needs to prove to us that he can be the coach the Reign needs.

Last year, the Reign was 4-16 in matches where they didn't win 3-0. Hell, they even lost to Vancouver. If they want to be a title contender they need to either stop tilting or be better at adapting on the fly.

I don't think he's a great scout either. Besides Erster and maybe Massa, almost all of his pickups weren't anything special in terms of scouting.

What about the members of Selfless or the S1 Shock, like Dafran, [REDACTED], Danteh, or Super?

Those were long times ago, back when I do think he was a decent to good coach/scout, but coaching talent has also ridden up. Dafran was known to be good and Super only reached his peak with Crusty. Idr how people Danteh so I'm not sure about him.

Pajion and Andante for me... This is the season they really need to prove their worth cause they can only ride off S2 Titans achievements for so long. With all the rumors of Spark not doing well in scrims it’s not looking good honestly

I’m scared but I’m still hoping. That team has too much talent to fail. So that’s probably why they will fail. The team hopefully does well.

DPei, OGE, JJonak, Pajion, Gator/Hawk, and Brad/LegitRC are all on the hotseat for me...they have something to prove for me.

I'm not too sure tbh. If he isn't a team player this season then who would want to build around him. He seems like a player who needs the team to play for him...not with him. Examples of people I think that are like this are Carpe and OGE.

Even then though, Jjonak hasn't exactly had a bad season yet. He's not been as amazing as season 1, but I think that even if season 4 isn't great he could find a team if he wants one. It might not be as a starter, but I don't see a world where he's not at least offered something like SBB on Seoul this season.

Boston's old guard like Fusions and Colourhex. That they're still here is honestly pretty shocking. Hoping they look better because there's no way they get another chance afterwards.

Getamazed. Not that I think he should be, but cheap teams across several sports often change their coach because it’s the cheapest and easiest change to make.

The only thing we can be sure about the off season of Eternal is that the org don't give a fuck about their OWl team. So we can be sure that whatever the result the whole team will be drop or sold.

So the best thing that we can wish for the players of Paris is to perform well enough for the other teams to decide to recruit them next season like Fdgod did.

Two coaches 100% on the hot seat are Dpei and Paijon. If they can’t win big with these rosters, it’s not looking good for them.

Boston dropped Soon, the Valiant dropped their roster and we are all on watch for Philly Fusions Western players.

OGE was also the first player I thought of. But I have faith in Coach Kuki, especially since he's a former professional main tank.
