[PC][90s]Shareware multiplayer 3d golf game set in a dark stylised world
Platform(s): PC. Possibly windows XP.
Genre: 3d Golf, I think first person.
Estimated year of release: 1995 - 2005?
Graphics/art style: Low poly, dark themed, minimalist. Maybe kind of gloomy/eerie, but I found it comfy. Not realistic at all.
Notable characters: The player character was a kind of robot with a PC monitor head, I think you were able to switch to other strange looking characters.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Standard golf. You could get in a golf buggy with a rocket booster on the back.
Other details:
It was standard golf, but set in these very strange looking dark levels.
I remember bulgy dark trees and strange shapes in the rolling landscape. I think, looking up you could see far up above there were clouds.
You could get in a golf buggy to drive down the green, which had a rocket booster on the back. As a kid I'd hold down the boost button too long and send my cart tumbling around with messed up physics.
I think this might have had online multiplayer, as in you could load a server list then join one, but I may be wrong.

The only thing I can think of is Gone Golfing but it is very recent.
