The console seems practical enough but I am not personally a fan of the aesthetic as it reminds me of a garbage can.

Damn you’re right. I have a black kitchen trash can that looks pretty similar. I’m never going to be able to unsee that. At this point I mostly use it to carry a heavy chain lock.

In case anyone is wanting the console just for carrying your morning commute coffee... the slightest bump will leave you having to clean coffee off your cranks, frame, battery, etc.
I would love to put a coffee thermos in it with a more secure spout. IF I could find one that fits the super tiny cup holder. It seems to be made to fit only small paper coffee cups. Forget trying a water bottle or even a soda can.

Do you drink it while you ride? If not try a stopper like from Starbucks, a piece of plastic wrap under the lid or double lid( one flat on like you have now.)

My solution to that was a thermos from walmart and a standard bottle cage but a stopper from Starbucks could work as well.

A simple transfer from the cheap disposable to a compatible thermos should allow💡🧠YOUR DREAMS TO COME TRUE🧙♂️🌈🌟🤷♀️maybe

None of my non disposable cups or thermos’s would fit the small slot. In the end I’m going with a handlebar cup/bottle holder so I’ll have more size options.

Coffee lid stoppers do the trick! Or grab a bunch from Starbucks for free.

Or... You could get a reusable cup with a closable lid? That way you're also contributing less to amount of used paper cups.

I did. You just didn't take the 5 seconds it would take to find one of the innumerable reusable cups that are designed to fit in the same size holder's as common paper ones. So don't come here and try and get sarcastic when you're just blaming your own laziness on product design.

I'm not sure if I like my console. On one hand it stores a lot securely. On the other the top is kinda clumsy and it makes it harder to get on and off. Stuff inside can get banged up, so I put an old t-shirt in the bottom for a cushion.
It is kind of a weird setup. I also miss being able to just step off the bike.
