Put a gun to my head and tell me a bed time story
It's time I stop looking for an answer and start asking for the questions.
Is it for me that I live or is because of the fuel that I get from others.
I look back, up until the death of my youth, and I don't see myself anymore.
That surefire doubt and awe has been completely twisted into that sense of dread that is so characteristical of when your life loses its structure.
That philosophical pondering has become an infinite loop of the same questions being asked again and again be it either because my mind can't find the answers or it simply cannot acept them.
I've come yet again to another breaking point where my life could spiral into the hardest it's ever been, or even worse, another time in which things stay slightly the same, but for the worst
So put a gun to my head and tell me a bed time story.
Let the dreams that so realistically registered in my head before be the last thing I see, because, at the end of the day
i need those dreams more than they ever needed me.

This is truly heartbreaking! I love line 5-6. The questioning of whether we haven't found the answers or just don't want to believe it. The way you ended the poem with the longing for dreams of things beyond what is now familiar to you. You truly captured the heartbreak and devastation when someone loses their childhood hope, dreams, and tired of trying to figure out life's question. To be honest, this had me a little teary eyed! Beautifully written!
