What's wrong with hit rush?
I literally got no points for my last 7 or 8 goals vs comp, it just says 'goal' with no points given

Whenever I score a goal on the 3 period 2 min game, the points do not go up at all, but when I end, it seems to be much higher than the 10K number at the top. I think it counts but does not add up as we play the game.

Use the search feature man. That one has been covered at nauseam. But in a nutshell, EA is just trying to make life more....edgy. 💀
