FYI, tomorrow I'm finishing up a long running mission/short story I put together with Interstellar Extended. Here's a teaser screenshot. Details in the comments.

A few years ago I finished up a mission to send a flyby to Nova Kirbani, an Alpha Centauri analogue from Star Crusher's "Kerbal Star Systems" mod (nowadays rebranded as "Galaxies Unbound"). Later on, I did a follow up where I sent a Von Neumann probe there to explore the planets.

It was always my intention to send a crewed mission there, but it had to be done in a way that I felt could be convincingly done in real life. There's been a few starts and stops along the way, but after some encouragement a little over a year ago I was inspired to start again. I've finished the mission and just need to put some finishing touches on the write up. I don't know if anyone was following the mission earlier but I did promise some of you back then that I would post another mission, so I'm posting a teaser here in case anyone saw the earlier missions and is still active in the community.

UPDATE: mission is here. It'll be funny when this teaser post gets more upvotes then the actual mission.

I can’t wait to see it!

I E is my fav! Cant wait!
