Checking to make sure your unresponsive ass is not dead = Invading privacy
OP is 19, and by their own report, ignores their mother asking them direct questions. Some of Mom's questions are bitchy, but some clearly point to Mom being concerned about OP's mental health. OP literally refuses to answer save for one snarky ass remark: "It's merely depression. Bug off." Then proceeds to depression-sleep from 9am - 6pm, and is shocked their parents are concerned to the point of removing the lock on her door.
No, baby. No.
Look, I'm a basketcase, diagnosed bipolar II and struggling for fucking years because of it. I understand depression. I don't understand being so fucking shitty to the people putting a roof over your head.

._. Oooo so tough.
So... OP was in depressive sleep, unresponsive. Parent are genuinely worried to the point they’re about to remove a whole ass door to make sure they’re not dead...
They find OP alive - back rubs and face cleanser while the dad puts the door back. And OP wants an apology?
If my kid is depressed and unresponsive guess what they’re getting their door broken the fuck down. I don’t give a shit.
OP if you end up here, move out if you hate them so much their worrying pisses you off. Get a job, find roommate gtfo. You have so much growing up to do.
Oh this one? I saw the opening and got to her setting the scene and noped out of that. That writing style is an instant turn off and makes it hard for me to sympathize.
It was a battle to get through ._. Definitely written by a teenager
I cringed with secondhand embarrassment reading it. Written by a teenager doing a very poor job of being angsty.
Do teens still use “teal deer”? I haven’t seen that one since my Livejournal days.
I am now showing my age by not having the slightest idea what a "teal deer" is. Is it a type of biscuit? An animal? Is it safe to look up?
Yep, I see it in tiktok waaay to much
I've been seeing this one on another subreddit a lot. A popular poster started doing it and it it really caught on. Not a lot of teens there, as it's hotel stories mostly, but I don't know where they saw it.
Except OP made an edit and they’re 20 years old 😬
Until someone goes through what I call the 'change' they're still a teenager. I've met 16 year olds who go through it and know some 50 year olds still not there.
It really reminds me of the way people used to write on Livejournal, like, 10 or 15+ years ago...
You leave my shriveled little heart out of this nonsense, OP.
Pretty sure that my heart has gotten bigger during the pandemic. Along with the rest of me.
That first quote had me walking away. From that point on anything Edge Lord has to say (in my eyes) is over-dramatic, exaggerated, and attention seeking nonsense.
The kernal of the story may be true but it to me it is like when you stub your little toe and say you have to be in a full body cast for a week. Despite what it may feel like.
