I'm looking for some history and information about a recent CTP prize. What can you tell me?

Great disc wish they used that plastic still. I have several Firebirds in that plastic.

I sometimes wonder if manufacturers picked better plastic when runs of each mold were more limited. These days they can't keep up with demand for plastic circles.

It’s not that they picked better plastics, they literally can’t make that plastic again. The oil that plastic is made from isn’t available to them any longer.

Also, plastic is just a crazy substance anyway. You can’t make the same plastic twice. It’s just not possible. It’s the way plastic is made, how it is heated, how the polymers form, etc. This is why people fall in love with a particular run of a disc. There is literally not another run that is the exactly same. This is also why sometimes different colors of the same run will be more or less stable than each other. It gets even more convoluted when they start mixing plastic types.

Discs are currently made from Polypropylene plastic. All of the translucent discs are made of PP regardless of manufacturer, all the plastic names are just marketing

Dude, if that were a CTP prize at my home course, the parking lot would be FULL

It was. Hoosier Hoser in Fort Wayne, IN. We had 270 players for a BYOP doubles and a waitlist. It's always been our biggest turnout.

Better watch out. Thanos just needs one more of these and he’ll control the universe.

I love all my champion plastic, the teebird is a great driver

It's an older champ editing tee bird. It's a later run. But still pretty old. It's like 60 dollar disc though probably at this point. I have a earlier tie-dye tee bird. Also have a second run tee bird. What weight is that and what letters does it have on it. I will trade you something for it if u wanna trade for something. I have a first or second run pro destroyer I would trade. Or I have a ton of other stuff. If u were even interested. I just love to throw these tee birds. I have one I'm throwing now. But it's beat up bout ready for a new one. Lmk

Looks to be penned Tl actually, 174g out of rancho Cucamonga with patent numbers. It was donated in by a much wiser player than myself. I just happened to throw a silly thumber that managed to park itself.

Right on it says TI not TL? Someone messaged me and said it was worth more like 105 but I just bought 2 max weight 175s for 50 bucks a piece. But I guess if you got lucky and someone really wanted it you could maybe get 100. I think that a longshot but hey u never know. If your not gonna use it and want it to do what it was made for and be thrown let me know, Maybe we can work something out on a trade. I have alot of frisbees I would trade for it.
And we could meet in the middle of what I think it's worth and what the people think it worth. So trade u like 80 worth of discs. If u were even interested in that. ☮️

These go for $115+.

Oh for real I had no idea they were that high now. I know like a year ago they were about half that. I actually bought 2 for 100. I also bought a second run tee bird yellow one. And a first run firebird red. I have the first run firebird and second run tee bird in display. I know they were worth about 100 bucks each. But they gotta be worth more now I guess. How much is a yellow mint second run tee bird, and a red first run firebird. I throw anything past a 5th or 6th run if I can get em at decent prices or trade. For some reason I can throw them so much better. I still have and throw a teebird and a valkyrie that are tie-dye like the one pictured. But if you want to trade something for it lmk. If your not trying to get a fortune from the frisbee. Because I'll probably lose it eventually. Lol Lmk if you know how much a blood red first run firebird, and yellow second run teebird. Did I do good buying them for 75 bucks a piece? I knew they would eventually be worth something. Sorry for such a long message ☮️

Easily a $100+ disc. And the market is pretty soft right now. FlyDye CE is pretty rare, never seen that type of dye (with a star) either.
